Open DNS

Installed Open DNS on my network to filter out various things at the route level. The PCs in the house works fine, but the two Macs are quite slow. Any body have ideas?
Support desk wasn't very helpful saying it's the Mac that has issue and not their servers.

Support desk wasn't very helpful saying it's the Mac that has issue and not their servers. I imagine they're right. Their service operates below the OS and I don't see any reason that any one computer would be slower than another beyond its own specs. Macs don't use better looking and/or more expensive packets.

Make sure the right DNS servers specified on the Macs. It may be waiting for the first one to reply, timing out after 15-30-60secs, before trying the next one in the list...
