I just wondering if you guys could give me some feed back on which engine I should put in my 96 civic coupe. The candidates are B18C1 vs B16A2 vs B16B.

B18C1-
Hp: 170
Tq: 128
Redline 8100
"Yeah, this lil four cylinder will get off the line"

B16A2-
Hp-170
Tq- 118
Redline 8000
"Just making it an SIR.. hmm"

B16B-
Hp- 185
Tq- 118
Reline 8400
"Type R Type R type R"

Using common sense the B16B would be the best choice for power and I would keep a civic heart in my civic body. The engines are all around 3g's so I dont know. Have you heard anyone saying one swap is easier than the other or finding better parts for one of the engines?

What do you think I should do?

truthfully the "best bet" would be the gsr motor.

but if you've got $3,000 to spend maybe look at just a b18b and start building a nice turbo kit for it

B18b with turbo, I'd would do internals first so i know it will last me for awhile.. and i dont know if i would have enough money to cover internals plus boost:dunno:

B16B is very very rev happy.
B18c5 is much more practical and comfortable for daily driving
