Can you scan the original appraisal sheet? when was it appraised?

My insurance company appraised it last fall. They didn't give me a copy, but they let me put it on the classic insurance with a value of $6k. I frankly think it's worth less than that, which is why I said I'm a realist and am open to offers.

By the way, on the classic / collectors insurance policy, my premiums are only $150ish a year for full coverage and no usage restrictions.

So, it's still a 5spd/305 car ? just TPI Converted ?

Yes, it has the factory low mileage 305 and 5 speed manual. You could not get a 350 in a regular production 1986 Camaro (they made 50 test cars only). They did offer the TPI 305, but the carb'ed 305 was the only way to get the manual transmission back in '86. The previous owner converted it to a later model TPI injection system using Megasquirt, a custom harness, and a Innovate LM2 wideband O2 setup.

My plan was to replace the 305 (even though it runs well enough) with a 350 from the wreckers or a donor car since it is about the cheapest and easiest swap you'll find as both engines are externally identical. Then I was going to do a junkyard turbo setup as the fuel management equipment is already installed and ready to go. Unfortunately I have since moved and cannot get away with doing this kind of work in a condo parking lot.
