Blackberry unlocking

I'm looking at buying an unlocked blackberry bold 9000. Only issue I'm having is the seller was telling me that he is unable to get the pin released through rogers to allow me to use data with the phone with my provider...


Is there anything that can be done to have the pin released and have the phone work on telus? With data etc?

Did you try calling telus and doing it yourself?

get seller to call Rogers Blackberry dept, they will be able to release the PIN manually.

The owner of the phone has to call there provider apearently.

The owner said he called, but they would not release the pin and that it could only be used as a phone, no email,pin,internet...

I thought you cant use a GSM phone on a CDMA network.
