I have no idea if that guy is pulling our leg or not, but on a side note - are there no honest people left on this planet?

I also had no idea that the Heene's (balloon boy bullshit) was prosecuted and the parents given a jail term -

That video rules, and I was always wondering why the hell people dont just turn the key to "off". Apparently the complexities of pressing an "off" button are just as daunting.

Apparently he didn't even try the emergency break until the cop told him to. Or, take the keys out of the ignition? Shift into neutral? Smells like bs.

I wonder what the fellow members of the corvette club he is part of would think of him being to scared to take ONE hand off the wheel at 90mph.

Toyota will be suing him, the CHP will be suing him, Prius owners will be suing as well for lowering the used car price as a result of these actions and degrading their product. The guy is an idiot and needs to be locked up and given time in the shower thinking about his actions.

Toyota might/might not have issues, but actions like this only inflame the situation.

I saw it on the news before coming across this thread and I too thought it something was up and had a hard time believing this guy's story.
