Great condition third-gen Corolla, driven by a seemingly super nice owner.

And spare the :whocares: emoticon - old japanese cars rule.

Lol, I actually had no idea how rare they are. I'm having a hell of a time even finding pictures online of these things..

if it has a 5-digits odometer, it won't be something too spectacular.

Nice model! It's either a 1970 or 1971 2-dr wagon from what I see by the body design. Pretty tough to find any little parts for that one up here in Canada... but can find with better luck in U.S.

When I was living on the Island about 5 years ago, a guy at the Toyota dealer in Duncan had one, only it was a 4 door, IIRC. I was talking to the owner one day, and he was saying the literally a week didn't go by where someone didn't try to buy it. He said he'd never sell it though.

Good spot!

Wow... that is super cool... I didn't even know they made a 2-door wagon version of the Corolla back in those days!

What was it about the 70s & 2 door station wagons anyways? Kind of a useless design... the Pinto, Chevy Vega/Monza and a couple others were offered as 2 door wagons as well... never understood that design!

All joking aside...sweet spot.

Lol, to be honest I think it has more to do with the car being deceivingly small. It was so tiny, even my little coupe looked bigger.

I can see that you weren't born or had grown up through the '70s :D ... you'll never understand why it's that way! I've grown through that era and had seen many of these wagons on the streets. I actually like the 2-dr wagons better than the 4-dr wagons (IMO - too many doors!).

The Corolla is Toyota's answer to the Chevrolet Nova 2-door wagons of the mid-60s. It begin in 1967 by Toyota in U.S. and then 1969 for Canada as I recalled.

Ah... the Pinto wagon... I used to ride in a few of them, Cheap rides but fun! :bigpimp:
