I have a buddy who's wondering if anybody here is able to tell him what is the cheapest and safest way to ship a car from within Canada to Calgary. He's got his sight set on a buyer from Montreal and wants to know which shipping company takes the best care and costs the least.

Thanks y'all

Mike

Hansen's L Forwarding is national and is your best bet. It'll cost you about $800 for shipping. I looked into it when I was planning to ship an S2000 here from Toronto. The train leaves Friday but they want the cars in by Wednesday.

Hope that helps. Look at the yellow pages for the number.

CPR (canadian pacific railway) ship for around $600.00 from Toronto. Used them last year, no complaints.

is he sure he wants a car from montreal ????
i heard they use alot of salt up there...... this is one of the main reasons why cars are being sold from Toronto, PEI, Montreal ect are so cheap ..... tell him to make sure there is no rust and that the car hasn't been repainted.....he'll be very disappointed when his car rusts from the inside out .....
