I'm through Nordic too, I found they're pretty cheap. (masked bandit) hooked me up last year

Call Bill at Diamond Insurance. I think he deals through Nordic. That is who I am insured through (his brokerage).

Edit: Same guy pf0sh0 is talking about.

I'm fairly sure (and Masked Bandit can correct me if I'm wrong), but you'll either get insurance through Jevco or Nordic. Whether you go to Blue Circle, Landy, or whoever, the prices SHOULD be about the same across the board, because they're all buying the same thing.

From what I know, Nordic deals with the higher risk type bikes (i.e.; crotch rockets) and is $$$, so if you can can get with Jevco, it's a good thing.

But your bike isn't a high risk machine.

Generally speaking, this is all correct. Most insurance brokers use Nordic & Jevco. The cruisers & standards go through Jevco and the sport bikes go through Nordic. The Nordic price is the same through all brokers assuming A) Each broker knows how to quote a motorcycle and B) Each broker is quoting you on the same coverage.

I dunno whats wrong with the Nordic price, I was only quoted just over $600 for full coverage on my R1...

Intact won't write a Gixxer in a million years.

Intact will only insure cruiser / touring / standard motorcycles, similar to Jevco but slighty more restrictive.

You might have it mixed up with Nordic as Nordic is administrated by Intact.

ING & Intact are the same thing (old name / new name). If you've got the pink slip handy, what are the first three numbers / letters of the policy?
