We built a new home and they have this plug right by our main panel that says "Panel Plug". It looks like a normal electrical plug but says panel plug on it in writing. Just want to know if it's ok to use this as a normal electrical outlet for us to plug in a vacuflow system?

Yes its fine to use for whatever you need. By code a recepticle must be located near the panel, but it can be used as a normal plug.

Just a normal plug,.. I remember when I was in new builds,.. that was the only outlet available to use during construction while the electrical rough-in was being completed and before RI inspection.
I think it might be in its own breaker? could be wrong though, its been a while.

Just wanted to be sure on it. Simply because the builders really don't rough nothing in the basement at all these days. Not a single electrical plug which is more than likely a good thing since I can do the basement the way i want it.
