So here is the scenario: I bought a home with my gf this year (I paid for 99% of it) but she is on the title and mortgage. She decided to go be a bitch and pack up and move out. I kept the house and I'm in the process of removing her from the title and mortgage. So.....in terms of taxes do I get the full $750 back or does she somehow get half of it (she likely won't claim for it). Or do I get half and the other half disappears ? How does this work ? I'm going to be kinda pissed in any scenario that doesn't get me the full $750 :banghead:

CRA doesn't care how it's split between owners so long as the total claimed per house is 750.....so make sure she doesn't claim anything and if she does, hope CRA doesn't see.
