The car scene in this country is nuts. I'm in Sydney, and they have a street where the macho guys of australia drive up and down all night to show off their cars... Lots of Supras, Silvias, Skylines, a car called an HSV Maloo R8...

Sweet. HSV Maloo R8 (Holden Special Vehicles, a performance brand of GM's Australian division), 361 HP V8 engine sports truck.

Ugly though.

That's the one. There are shit tons of those down here. And a ford truck that looks pretty similar I can't recall the name.

Actually caught a glimpse of an R34 GTR today but I heard the BOV, turned my head and the thing was gone before I could even attempt to grab my camera.

One wonders what NA only cars the rest of the world is digging, other than the old school cars from say 66-86. Seems Europe and elsewhere get the goods and we in NA get the bland cars.
