Been looking at the the HD5750 video card for my new build.. Does anyone here run this card with an P55/iX system? Are you happy with it's performance.

The other cards I am considering are the 5750 VaporX, 5770 & 5770 VaporX.. Is the extra 150Mhz and 80 stream processors worth it?

I am basically looking for something that will handle Bad Company 2 running at maxed high graphics options and still get 50ish FPS. Would love to play Crysis are High settings as well.

Sapphire 5770 Vapor X here.

I play Bad Company 2 1920x1080 full details, runs beautifully, looks stunning.

A 5750 may struggle a bit at that resolution.

Core i3 here with 4 gigs DDR3.

Of those get the 5770. The vapor-x has a pathetic 10Mhz factory overclock which you can do yourself with minimal effort. If you plan to oc it might be worth the extra money.

In a couple months you can also add another, they scale really well in crossfire.

I don't think you'll be running crysis on high at native resolution on a 22" though.

Probably wouldn't help if I go 24" either.. haha

Does gaming take advantage of Crossfire setups well enough to bother adding a second versus just dropping the money on a single 5850/5870?

Get a 5850 or 5870

The 5850's overclock amazingly well and are as good or better then the 5870's and current GTX 295's.

but I'm biased cuz I'm running the 5850 now lol

Haha.. easy to say, but the bank account disagrees. :( a 5850/70 means over 6weeks before I could afford it (if everything goes well, without unexpected expenses)..

Crossfire is iffy, it does better in some games versus others. A single card is always better imo.

You've already spent more on ram than a potential 5770, might as well go big :). I don't think I've seen my memory usage go over 2gb while play BC2.

Trust me.. I'm kicking myself for spending the money on that extra 4GB.. :banghead:
