Selling this for my sister. Originally purchased September 2005. Includes the notebook, 8-cell battery, AC cable, manual. There was no WinXP Home cd included, but the cd key is on a sticker on the bottom of the notebook.
Specs:
Pentium M 1.7ghz
512mb ram
80gb hard drive
DVD-rw
Wifi G
Physical condition is good. Operational condition is good with a few caveats:
- Battery holds very little charge
- The speakers on the notebook don't work anymore (you can still use the audio jack to listen). There is a broken wire that I didn't want to bother fixing. Apparently its common for this Dell notebook (bad design, speakers are on the LCD panel so the wire is constantly under stress when you pivot the screen), so you can look up instructions on the net for repairing.
- Everything else is ok
Ubuntu 9.03 is currently installed and runs surprisingly quite well
