Im actually shocked to shit how fast they are.
Totally suprised me, but theres alot of things they could have done better,

The weight for one, 3821?????? are they crazy? its not AWD lol

Second, use a new body style lol way to familar to the cavalier/sunflower.

Third, its close to $50,000cdn,
Id take a G35C for cheaper and better build quality over the GTO, and the G35C pretty much matches if not exceeds the numbers of the GTO.

I really don't think they did the car justice. Its a shame too because the classic GTO is just that - a classic. Not to say that this isn't nice, it just seems that they didn't really go out of their way to make this car special.

What's really strange is GM is notorious for introducing like 100 new models each year so you'd think they'd have some sort of capacity to make this stand out from the rest of the Pontiac line-up. :(

PS - at least its rear-drive. If it hadn't have been, they would have been lynched by the classic GTO enthusiast crowd :banghead:

I have been told by the sales men at my Dealership that Canada will not be getting the GTO becuase it dosen't meet our required Bumber laws. :banghead:

I know the SRT-4 got held up a bit for similar reasons - what is it about our laws that are making it difficult to bring these cars in?

The GTO was such a beautiful car and this new one just really ruins the name. Yea it's ok fast but the styling is way too much like the sunfire. It's just a let down of sorts.
