LoL.

I have an old Cisco 1900 switch, however I think it can't be upgraded past a certain IOS version. Is that a problem? I'll be home in a week and can look up the hardware revision. Also try VFXWeb up near the airport, they have old stuff like this (http://www.vfxweb.com/index.php?productid=11686)

For what exam? If you don't mind virtual you can use GNS3 for routers and a bit of switching (nm card) which is free if you have the IOS for it.

The 1900xl switch uses a slightly different IOS then the newer switches which are the ones they test on. For the switching exam I bought two 2950T's with the enhanced IOS from eBay and an 8 port 3560 switch. With those 3 switches you can do everyhing on the BCMSN exam.

Sorry I can't help directly but I would recommend eBay for most of the hardware because the hardware they test on is about 5+ years old now and becoming phased out on production networks.

Use Packet Tracer or OPNet IT guru. Its cheaper.
