Ignition Coil

Alright i may have traced down why my car is running so poorly and or i can start the POS the resistance on my primary ignition coil is a little of spec they say it needs to be within 0.3-0.6 Ω i am getting 0.7Ω so i guess it is out of spec.. my Secondary Coil tests fine.. i get like 12kΩ out of it... So i guess i need a primary coil or one that i could borrow just to test it out and or eliminate the possibility of my problem being a faulty coil anyways.. anyone have a spare that i could borrow or buy? Aftermarket support? does MSD or any other ignition company make anything that i can swap out..

if your .1 ohm out i doubt its testing out of spec, your volt meter might not be perfectly calibrated.

yea man i figured it out.. wasn't the coil i was having some other ignition issues.. fixed it and the car is now running :poosie:

How'd you fix it, ground the coil to the body and it worked?
Miss a ground?
I was gonna post what grego said too. 0.1 won't make the car not start.

to be honest it wasn't really anything wrong with the igniton coil, i was guessing because it was the only thing that was out of spec.. i ended up rechecking all of the lines and determined the spark plugs were fouled.. they only had 500km on them so it didn't really cross my mind as to double check them... but a new set of plugs gets her started... :poosie: just gotta sort out a couple more flaws and drop it off at the bodyshop this week ;)
