15'' HX2 Power Series

I have a buddy at work that is selling 2 15" HX2 Power Series subs for about 300... would it be worth it for me to buy just one and slap and amp on it? Or is the distortion of a 15" to sloppy?

well as much as it needs which i believe is round 800 watts from what i hear.

The HX2 is a sloppy sub for SQ. If that's what you are looking for, then the HX2 is not for you.

those subs are real nice they get pretty loud if the voice coils are wired right and to a good power amplifier ,one is enough but two is even better if you have the space with the right size box ...
