Cause spending 500 dollars on a device that you will use twice a month for 5 seconds or less, is just smart.

Bodybuilding.com has calipers for 10 bux or less.

the other challenge is using calipers properly. I looked into caliper certification a few years back and the course is like 1500 bucks.

Although to be that accurate with them is pretty useless as long as you are consistent. Which is the same thing with any calipers you buy. As long as it can be calibrated.

Honestly I would just pay the 20 bucks every few months at MRU to get it checked.
