View Full Version : How much Whp does your car make?

I am bored at work and thought it would be interesting to know what kind of power house cars are on beyond. So my question is how much wheel horsepower your car has dynoed at? Your numbers must be dyno proven and got guessing.

My car stock makes 200WHP, been proven a bazillion times on forums.

Don't have dyno proof but with car weight and quater mile time it says just shy of 300 wheel horse. All from a tiny 16g running high 12's.

Never dyno'd my car, but I can outrun 600cc bikes.

Not enough. From butt dyno, little parts and random google dynos probably about 240 or so.

mine is stock.. and there are a lot of baseline dynos done on it (none by me). They're all around 270whp / 300 ft/lbs of torque.

If you are going to do this, you might as well include the dyno it was done on.. that makes a huge difference.

I got 238 rwhp out of my NA FC. Never got time last year to turn the boost up on my turbo car, it ran 401 off the gate at 10 psi. Would like to finally finish that project, its been dragging on to long.

Hoping to get dynoed when it warms up and I switch to summer rubber. But with the mild Trifecta Tune (yet to upload) these cars typically dyno 300-310WHP and 330-340WTQ and weighing in at a whoping 2900lbs should be fun

Will update post when I actually do dyno.

My Volvo should be pushing 240WHP. (friends stats, with exact setup, I cant be too far off)

My car on wastegate spring put down 700Awhp, and 590 ft/lbs, and with another 5 psi put down 860Awhp. I would "assume" 1000 whp is possible with some more boost, but only time well tell this year. It should take that much to push my heavy car over 160Mph in the 1/4.

Since everyone's being so honest here:

2,265 HP and 2,299 TQ

No big deal.

They messed up some of my info when I did the dyno run so they just crossed it out and put my info in...it was all done professionally so it's legit.

2871 is huge compared to t28bb. It's a stock S14 turbo. I was only hitting 72% duty. Last year I made 270 whp and was at 82% duty on a 2860 but it blew. I got the t28 cheap to run this year. It's about right for what the compressor map says. I think it can only flow 30 pounds a minute which means about 300 chp. Do the percentage for drivetrain loss and i'm about right. Btw, at that, your injectors are maxed out.

Had weird issues at Toma's Dyno today. Results are on his "heartbreaker" Dyno Dynamics. Big thanks to Toma for coming out on Easter Sunday!!

Best was a 268whp run @ 12psi with a weird curve. Was able to reproduce it twice, and another run with a similar curve at 255whp. For some reason I couldn't get my boost to my usual levels, even with the boost controller cranked to full. I'm usually pushing 17-18 psi on the street so I'm guessing my numbers should be a bit higher. Hopefully Toma will be sorting it out soon with some tuning ;) Left us scratching our heads a bit as my numbers were kind of all over the place. :dunno:

Ran a few consistent runs of 230whp @ 12psi as well.
