That Futurama episode with Fry's Dog was pretty sad. I don't even like dogs all that much but that was depressing.

Kinda went downhill from there for a solid 30 mins.

Harold and Maude, simple, standard issue in any film class or film society program. It was an era where they just got the film right, great cars as well.
Rent it. Borrow it. Steal it. Above all, watch it.

Not a "scene" but live sports, and at a time when I cared about auto racing and Gilles Villeneuve.
Watching this live on TV and knowing at the time, all was not going to be right ever again, as far as my watching auto racing:

Reminds me of Greg Moore. I used to run into him at a peeler bar back home all the time.

I'd have to say when Optimus prime dies and gives the matrix to Ultra Magnus in the original cartoon movie.
That scene in Click where adam sandler yells at his dad.

I can't name any where you can watch just that part and not the buildup.
I think the last thing that made me cry was Time Traveler's Wife.

Not really "sad", but thought it was one of the moving moments in the movie. That and when he was talking to his son outside his restaurant.

The first part of Up! made me want to curl up into a ball and wallow in my infinite sadness.

Man I never even thought of that movie since I watched it until now. It was so forgettable, but I did recall a sad moment with the dad. It was in the rain no?

no that was the end, but it was pretty sad too. the one i was talking about is the part where the dad tries the coin trick again and the "future" sandler gets all pissed off and yells at him. then the current sandler keeps rewinding time to hear his old man say "i love you son" over and over again
