I work at Earl Grey and we're opening on the 8th. Most should be opening about the same time or a bit after.

Canal should be open, Speargrass is open, Glen Eagles is open. Most of the semi's privates should open in the next 2-3 weeks.

Played Gleneagles last Sunday and it's in surprisingly good shape. Let's hope for a long and warm golf season!

Glen Eagles still using temp greens?

I drove by Highwood the other day and people were playing...
Good $20 round of golf to kill an hr or so.

How is Speargrass, is it worth the $75ish to play?

Worth the drive from the far NW?

i enjoy playing it...a word of caution though is carts are mandatory. i hate playing with carts and therefore speargrass is an early season/late season choice for me as it is usually one of the first open and last to close.

last three holes at speargrass are epic. 17 is their signature hole and 18 is a huge uphill.

Checkout www.golfcalgary.blogspot.com

There's instructions on how you can get a free round of golf at GlenEagles, Silverwing, and Boulder Creek.

Silverwing and Boulder Creek are open April 6. You can only use th free round of golf voucher for the first 10 days so book your tee times early if you can.

The GlenEagles free voucher isn't as restrictive. You have until May 13th.

There's a couple more new deals on the site www.golfcalgary.blogspot.com

I played Silverwing today and it's in pretty rough shape as well. It's looking like a lot of people won't be able to take advantage of the free golf from Silverwing and Boulder Creek. The coupon is only valid for the first 10 days which is set to expire this coming Thursday. It's suppose to snow/rain everyday until then.

played riverspirit (spirit, millburn) yesterday after hearing silverwing had a 2 hr delay on start times. it's in decent shape, with a couple tough pin placements for this year in the season.
