I heard that a 4yr old Alberta boy was run over by his grandfather while backing up his truck.

I cant begin to imagine how the grandfather feels.

Very sad

RIP little one and my deepest condolences to the family.

That's terrible.

You have to wonder how the old guy didn't notice that his grandson was not in the vehicle before moving. That's pretty bad.

I am an asshole.

At 4 the kid should know that cars can hurt.

At XX the old man should have enough sense to know if someone gets in/out of a vechile. If he doesnt, he shouldnt be behind the wheel.

Its a terrible thing, i feel for the boys parrents. But idiocy is the problem here.

I was morso reffering to the old man. The kid should have know better....but kids can be distracted easily.

Which is why kids of that age should still be supervised by a responsible coherent person....which its clear the old man was not.

I also have a very good understanding of kids, i have several nephews and cousins under 5. Leave the personal attacks for the playground son.

LOL

Shitty story but there was an adult in this that didn't pay enough attention. It's sad but someone was in a way at fault.

Im not looking for sympathy here, but a few years back i lost a family member working on a combine.

Not a pretty way to go thats for sure...
No matter the stupidity in cases like these, its not cool in any way you look at the story.

The boys parents will be scarred
.. the grandpa even more so.
