Sorry for all the late replies to the PM's, I am still currently in the US. The Apple Stores down here all sold out within the first few hours. I talked to a few guys who actually camped out for 2 days.

The above poster is wrong. It is covered worldwide. Hopefully this thread goes away soon, but in case anyone reads it before then here is an excerpt from the ACTUAL Apple warranty:
