History making..
Mclaren F1 held the record of being the fastest production car in the world for 11 years. It is lighter and has a more streamlined structure than even most of its modern rivals and competitors despite having one seat more than most similar sports cars, with the driver's seat located in the middle. It features a powerful engine and is somewhat track oriented, but not to the degree that it compromises everyday usability and comfort. It was conceived as an exercise in creating what its designers hoped would be considered the ultimate road car.

Now Bugatti Veyron came up to a challenge with Mclaren F1.

I've heard a re-geared McLaren will outrun a Veyron.

1/4 the McLaren would definitely take the cake but can't quite hang with the Veyron up top.

Nice picture man. Good work. In the end the McLaren F1 adds more to the history books then the Bugatti Veyron ever will in terms of design and influence. The McLaren was always meant to be a no-compromise road car and it shows. Every time I look at the Bugatti I get the feeling the design conversation went something like this; “I want the fastest top speed car in the world with 1000 hp. Get our team of 1000 engineers working on it ASAP”.
Just doesn’t seem to have the passion in it’s design like the McLaren does.

You do realize that Bugatti cars were racing and winning well before Bruce McLaren was even born right?

lol +1, the company of bugatti itself has making vehicles for 100 years or something like that. mclaren has been around for only about half that.
