just wanted to know if any one know if 4th gen prelude struts will fit on a 5th gen base

i did some reading and found that they would not fit on the SH modle but would fit on the base.

any know if this is correct ?

if so im sure its the same for coil-overs right ?

Thanks for your help in advance

As far as i know they will fit...

the SH uses a completely different system... but the Base is pretty much the same.

that said, iv probably done the exact same reading as you...

you might be better off to ask of Preludeonline.com or Preludepower.com

Yup, they'll fit fine. Only difference is that on the 5th gens there's a little bolt for the brake line to attach to, but it's not essential that you attach it there. I swapped out my old 4th gens with th 5th gen struts.

Like everyone else says, yes they fit.

As a side note: All third gen - fifth gen prelude struts fit (minus the SH 5th gen). Same with Integra/Civic ones as well (I have personally done this with no problem). Obviously would need a stiffer shock because the prelude is a fat ass. Coilovers for a civic/integ/prelude may be different for some models, but for the most part they fit as well (done this as well).
