Good evening all just need advice

some idiot parked infront of my house went to leave and I saw him back into my car then quickly drive away. I got his plate and called police my bumper is scratched. What my chances of getting retribution?

Pretty good if you gave the cops his plate and reported it as a hit and run. You might have to be able to ID the driver so write down all the things about him or her that you can remember, same with the car. what did the cops say?

Cops said they're gonna try and track him down and I got a great description as I was looking out the window at the time
