ya they air brushed flames comming out of the hood vents and under the hood, also the supercharger is air brushed.....It is a pro job on the air brushing but i dont seem to like it. Will get it painted soon.

If the interiors of modern mustang's weren't such garbage, I'd most likely be driving one. Great looking SVT!

^ Word, I worked at a Ford dealership when these came out, the interiors are very rough. :thumbsdow

These cars respond amazingly well to engine mods. A CIA, smaller SC pulley and a couple other small things and you can get some impressive HP/TQ numbers for sure.
Looks great though, and yes, kill the flames.. as currently they kill the car.

I hated the interiors of them, But somehow i could get past it wit that mean front end and that sexy fat ass when you got nice rims on!

Whats on there for mods right now moe?
Maybe once I chip my Bullitt and toss on a supercharger we should have a go at race city ;)

smaller pully, ported blower, and cat-back exhaust....its pretty stock right now. Wont be in about a week :D

ya we should....unless you do internals.....its going to be hard to keep up.....sorry man this thing is quick (comming from a guy who has a 345wrhp foxbody)

your car is probably the same if not more heavier then mine, so you would need more power to keep up....and to have 500rwhp in your car you need to do internals.....or it will go CABOOOM.

We should have a go before you toss on a supercharger, I won't be able to keep up after.

have to paint the hole hood, taking it off now to send it out.

dont know the boost gauge reads up to 10. the needle gets pined so not sure..... usually they get about 14 once pullied.

Nice car, I'm with everyone else on the flames though (good to hear you are changing that). These cars are great, One of my uncles had one and I got a lot of seat time in that, which made me love these cars.

the stickers are already off, the guy that owned it has a wheel shop, and he used the car to advertise his company.

Wow man! Nice terminator! Congrats on the new ride. What's happening with the fox body? selling/sold?

I love the vegas photos. I was there a couple weeks ago and thought it would be awesome to cruise the strip in my ride and take pics like you did. Well done!

still have the foxbody, its for sale in market place.

I imported it from CA, I am a dealer so that is one of my plates, saves me the hassle of getting an in-transit pass.

They were under-rated from the factory as 390hp stock.......at the flywheel. Can't remember what that equated to at the wheels but for being stock, it was quite impressive.....and a pulley/tune easily adds reliable 60Hp (or more)....

Stock - 340 rwhp.
Cold air kit and tune 375 rwhp
Exhaust 390-400 rwhp
Cold air kit, tune, supercharger pulley, exhaust, 430 to 460 rwhp.
KB bower at 15-17 psi, 510 rwhp.

Oh hai guys ... I figured I'd bump OP's thread here with my new daily beater; if you see a 500RWhp 04 cobra 'vert stuck in the ditch on Deerfoot in the middle of winter with 245/17 blizzaks on the back, you know it's me

modded 04 cobra vert; greatest winter beater ever  (and no, I'm not joking about it being my daily driver/winter beater)

http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww89/efnfast/cbr1-1.jpg
http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/ww89/efnfast/cbr3.jpg

~10k, ported/pullied/exhaust/intake/tune/short throw...all the basic mods.

Next up 17x10.5 deep dish rims, 315/17s in the back (for the spring/summer/fall), and that's probably it. I'd like to lower it, but given it'll be winter driven, I don't think i want to be raising/dropping it and re-doing the alignment twice a year. It's not too bad as is.

What are you comparing its interior to?

Btw, do any of you guys know what the centre section of the setas (e.g., where the cobra logo is) is made out of? Suede, alacantara, etc...?

I always use Meguiars 40 to clean my interior pieces (leather/rubber/vinyl), but I have no idea what to use on the centre sections because I can't identify them or find information on them.

Shlade
05-01-2010, 12:37 AM
idk i use meguiars on all of my interior panels and does a great job of cleaning it all

2EFNFAST
05-01-2010, 12:47 AM
it's alcantara (or however you spell it; i'm tired, lol) - grrr, hate that stuff. basically you just wipe it with a microfiber, or use a special product for like, like something from leathermaster

http://www.detailersdomain.com/leathermaster-foamcleanerforsuedeandalcantara.aspx

I definitely wouldn't want to try m40 on it.

Shlade
05-01-2010, 01:03 AM
I dont use the m40, I Use the supreme uv protection shine one

Havent had any problems and has superb shine.

^^^ Haha, I'd like to know how that buying process went. How do you even size a Mopar filter for a Ford engine?

Edit: Just looked it up, that is the oil filter for a 2006-2009 Cadillac STS-V. I actually just did an oil change on one about a week ago, crazy.

Me thinks you are correct :D

Here's another example of what I found.

Magnaflow catted X- check

OEM catback with dynomax mufflers attached that were leaking at all the joints - double check

Oh well, picked up a proper magnaflow catback today to fix that as well.

I'm surprised the car hasn't blown up actually - the tune in there was horrible. It was trying to run 93 octane instead of 91 even :nut:

Apparently that is a correct filter for your Cobra, as crazy as it sounds. Probably a generic Wix or Purolator filter: http://starparts.chrysler.com/starlibrary/marketing/filters/filters.pdf
