I scored myself a new sautee pan and was looking for a way to christen it for a good dinner. Hadn't had a good stir fry in ages, so I figured that the new pan would be great, since I don't have a wok.

First, I had some of those massive Costco pork chops in the freezer. Cut one up and put it in the pan with some Kikkoman teriyaki sauce and garlic on medium heat. Let it cook all the way.

When the meat is cooked, throw in some mushrooms. I used about half of one of those Safeway packets. Let the mushrooms cook down so they shrink a bit.

While those are cooking, get your veggies ready. I used here:
- two carrots
- half a white onion
- whole red pepper
- 3-4 celery stalks
- head of broccoli
- whole bunch of asparagus (mmmm)

Also, get the water boiling for your noodles. I used these ones because they were on sale.

Once the mushrooms are cooked, throw in the veggies. Cook them until they are at your desired tenderness (I like mine really tender, so I let it simmer for a good 15-20 minutes. Really, 5 is good if you just want to cook them and have the carrots still crunchy).

Once the noodles are cooked (3-4 minutes) drain and add to the pan. Add a bit more of whatever sauce you like and stir in. Let sit with the lid on for a couple minutes and then serve it up! Super cheap and easy, gave me dinners for a good 4 days.

Good stuff but my advice is to throw the mushrooms in last and those other veggies first.

yea... mushroom last would be better... onions first.. then other veggies and then mushroom at the end.

Touche, but still good stuff, I do the same minus the noodles and pour on rice. Good recipe and can modified using whatever veggie combo you want for ex broccoli and snow peas with beef.
