welding engineer

hello,

So here is the deal I have been in a welding shop for a while...enough to go back to school but I have been thinking about taking the welding engineering course at sait, and am just wondering if any one knows about it or is a welding engineer. do my welding hours make a difference. should i finish my ticket ? what should I expect if I take the course.

AFAIK Welding Engineer is a technologist profession so hours will not help.

But a J-man certificate on top of the Sait course will help a lot in your credibility..
