I have either strained or spained both neck muscles on each side of my neck, just wondering what I can or should do at the gym without straining my neck any further

Could be a big difference in what you do depending on which one you're suffering from...

Sprain = ligaments, these have a higher chance of not healing properly, depending on what you do. Could result in inflexible/scarred ligaments, or semi-permanently stretched ligaments.
Strain = muscle/tendon, generally not as serious I believe particularly if it's just muscle.

Im hoping its just a strain, Im just wondeing what I can or cant train that may affect my neck. So far its just light stuff like bike, just wondering if I could get into any lifting right now

You could probably do most exercises. But limit yourself to the ones where you have to sit or lay down.

Avoid doing heavy trap and shoulder exercises. Otherwise you should be good to go.

also don't lift heavy homie, that can cause lots of strain on your neck, especially when your making the "poo" face
