Hey Beyond, got 2 different teams in different sports that are looking for players, want to see if anyone is interested.
1) Ultimate Frisbee Co-Ed - We are playing in the Calgary Sport & Social Club Tuesday Night Rec League and need some more players, men and Women (approx 3 men, 2 women) so if you and your significant other are interested, or just you, - it is 2 games a night, so a great way to get a run in.
2) Calgary Touch Football - this is a men's league and we need some players - league starts up late may and runs until early Sept - usually get to play around 3 games at McMahon, it is 7 players on at a time, full CFL field with CFL rules minus the tackling and FGs/Kicking converts. Lots of running, so if you are looking for good interval sprints/cardio, you can do it while playing football.
