baaah helmet situation, which one what do i do...

alright so some of you read in the otehr thread that i was trying to get a specific helmet from the US and everybody kept denying me because they wont ship Shoei to canada anymore.

so, i ordered a Shoei Diabolic Nightwing in small from one place, then got an email about 10 minutes after i placed the order saying that it cant be sent to canada.

so i got a Shoei Strife from Ebay, its been shipped but i havent gotten it yet, should be here real soon, BUT i got an email a couple days ago stating that my order has been shipped for the Diabolic.

now, the Diabolic was my first choice but because i couldnt find anymore anywhere else, i had to go with the Strife. my problem is, im getting 2 helmets, i can only return the Diabolic but i actually want to keep the Diabolic.

what should i do? sell the Strife or return the Diabolic because i cant keep both, my wife says so. on the same note, anyone want a brand new Shoei in small?? :D

Wait until riding season really gets in gear and sell it locally - probably better than paying for return shipping.

Hmmm... Which color/size is the strife, and which model is it?

Tell your wife to fuck off and keep both. She should be preoccupied with making sandwiches and pies any how. This is none of her concern.

Strife is a black RF1000. problem is i can only keep the Diabolic for 14 days but i dont have to pay for return shipping as it was shipped in error. so i f i can sell the Strife before that, then ill keep the Diabolic for myself, if not im sending it back.

right now im in the middle of building a house and am living with my inlaws that snarl at me buyig tim hortons. id rather not hear it from them too right now. if i were in my own house, that is what i live by *usually* to a point.

gaaaay, i dont wanna do that and thats another reason i only need one of the helmets. i dont wanna pay for something that i wont likely use much if at all.

Just put that thing on Kijiji. Since you paid less for it using eBay vs. buying local, you won't have a problem getting your money back. You could probably turn a profit if you wanted to.

With the nice weather and Class 6 courses starting up, someone will take it off your hands for sure.

I am not sure but as for selling helmets locally it is hard. I had two helmets that I was trying to dump off ended up taking about $100 hit on both
Both were brand new in the box and all

if you cant sell it, keep it in a box somewhere cool and dark. The body wont break down then in 3 or 4 years you can have a brand new helmet. That or wear both like you would a pair of shoes ;)

thats fine, the helmet isnt here yet so i have 14 days to return it from delivery date. i have no problem sending it back,just thought id throw it out there first to see if anyone might be interested.
