Foster Creek Camp

I am looking at a job with Cenovus at the Foster Creek Facility. Anyone worked up there? What's it like? How is the Camp?

I will be a Technologist, working with the Construction group.

Its a decent camp. Food is good, rec stuff is good. But its still a camp.

Zero Tolerance for everything as its on a Base.

Watch the liquor store in LaCorey on your last day coming home. Half of the site stops there for a 12 pack to drink on the way home!

The camp is fairly decent, with pretty good food (for a camp). But as someone else mentioned being on the weapons range things are very strict. It's really annoying to just drive somewhere since you've gotta call into Sentry to get permission to leave the highgrade.

I am not sure exactly what I will be working on...I will be with the construction group, doing a field engineer type position.

In that role any idea what type of room I would get in the camp? Is there different rooms based on classifications?

the rooms are all the same unless you go to an open camp, unless things have changed in 4 years up there.
