The Chinese have claimed this car creates negative emissions.
Is this even possible? I found the story here...

bs. it just doesnt seem possible, it kinda reminds me of all the hoaxs of ppl running their cars off only water,

Yes, you're completely right, it's absolutely impossible...


That's why trees do it? Our technology has improved to the point where this is totally viable. Trees convert carbon dioxide into oxygen, can't see why this car can't either.

Does it actually work? Fuck if I know... But it isn't impossible. Lots of people said teleportation is impossible, yet they have teleported a particle.

"Negative emissions" is kind of market-babble but it is technically possible.

What they do is run the car in an extremely smoggy area. The intake filter plus the combustion and the catalytic converters will remove some of the pollutants and the exhaust is technically "cleaner" than what was sucked in. However, this works on lots of cars, not just efficient ones.
