Hello everyone just looking for some advice. I just sold one of my trucks for $16,000.00 and i am looking to buy a sports car. The following is some of my options that I have looked into:

03- 04 Nissan 350Z
1993 Twin Turbo Supra
03- 04 Infinity G35

So my question is what do you think would be the most logical choice. The only thing I am looking for is around 300hp and something to drive in the summer as i already own a winter beater.

Thanks,
Matt

You know what, they're all solid choices.

If you're gonna want more power down the road get the Supra. If you're leaving it stock the 350 or G35 would be good.

You arn't going to buy any of those for 16k unless they're beat to shit and have problems.

Sorry I am not looking to invest in a Z32 although I do find them visually appealing. As for: 2EFNFAST's comment there is plenty out their at that price that are not bagged, there are just very hard to find.

I was in the same boat a couple months ago and I went with the 350Z and I am loving it. Although I must say it was over your 16K range though. Although for what I got was still a sick deal, but that's only cause the seller was sort of in some financial trouble.

If you have patience you can EASILY find a g35 or 350z in that range. Those are 2 of the most overpriced cars on the market, so just got to wait for someone with half a brain to sell at actual market value!

g35 a bit more luxurious, can't really go wrong with either that or the 350!

Gluck!

I don't know but I searched the market for at least a solid month, even two for both the g35 and 350z and I only found ONE 350 that was $15.9k with decent amount of km's on it (think it had about 85k) and it had some body damage too which I got quoted $2k to fix.

And between the g35 and 350z, it depends what you're looking for. G35 is some performance and luxury as well. And 350z is mostly just performance. I love the fact that I got the 350z cause g35's are way more common, considering they are a bit more practical.

Well, prove me wrong.

I just banged up autotrader

Something like 330ish 350z for sale. Only 3 below 15k; those 3 having 200k on them.

That's like my saying there are plenty of 02 ACR vipers with 2k miles on them out there for 30k. They're just very hard to find and you just have to wait for the owner to get desparate enough to sell.

I forgot; this is Beyond; we lowball everything.

WTB - 08 Lambo Murci. $25,499 MAX. LMK.

No, really, for 16k only the G35 (coupe, not sedan) might be hard to find. 03/04 350s are all starting to hover around 16k. And you can get really nice ones from the states in that range.

How much $$$ does it cost to import though? Probably another 2-3k? Okay, not much, but still over 15k, hehe.

I think like anything its a matter of doing your research and having the patience to find the car you want, ultimately to make a poper offer.

The VQ35DE is a super solid engine, as is the rev-up in the latter year manual trans.

Its a matter of compromise "I" think...
You could find through the whole-sale arrangements, something in that price range... but may be from a location you may not want to purchase from.
Or it may come down compromising for # of kms or accident history.

so its a matter of what you want to live with :)

I got an 06' Altima SE-R auto w/ VQ35DE for what you're tasking w/ 88k and a 3rd party warrant transferd to me.

350z, you should be able to find one for 16k if you wait, G35 coupe, add 2k. Supra, you're gonna wait a hella long time, if you can even find one. Unless you don't mind having a RHD one, and even than might be hard to find. If you do, gonna be high mileage, beat to shit.
