If you are looking for a good daily for 2000 - who cares about rust as long as it runs well
If you are looking for a good car to turn into a project, spend the extra money to get one without any rust, or buy a JDM.

Well, without pics it is a little tricky to see the extent.
But the fact is that you can always fix rust. And it will always come back.

Even if you cant embed the photos just put a link up,
So long as the Whole rear end/frame isnt rusted out its usually fixable

No rust isn't usually fixable especially on 240's which are known to be one of the worst cars on the market for rusting out. There's a reason rust on automobiles is likened to cancer. There's no real cure and while you can fix it it will likely come back. You will end up paying a lot of money to repair rust in one area then only to get more in other areas.

RUN AWAY IF YOU WANT THIS TO BE A KEEPER.
Okay to just drive.

there is most likely a lot of rust hidden underneath the car.
If you want a car to bag in the winter (which is over) then go for it.
If you want a project, like mentioned above you need a better chassis, and you will have to search a LONG time for one also:guns:

...WTF? ... Where did you haul this car from? Looks more like it come from a junkyard lol. You say it's a '92 model? Well, my 2 cents - want know?
RUN AWAY FROM IT.
Unless you are looking for a winter/daily beater - then that's fine for it to be used until it died or rusted to dust.
If you're looking for a project or a keeper... keep look elsewhere for better one.
ya stay away from that guy,
if the strut towers are starting to rust like that, i can only imagine how the underbody is :S

Stay away from it. You can find a better car for the same price. From the looks of it, someone did a bad job replacing some glass. I would bet you pinch welds under the glass are completly rusted through.
