An officer was filing a report at a buddies house when his cruiser started pissing coolant and overheated.
Shit happens :dunno: The Police get their cars serviced at regular Ford dealerships. Only they cover up the light beacons on top with a black cover that reads "out of service".

i find this ironic, IMHO city wide towing are a bunch of criminals. When i put my parts car into the ditch years ago, I got a bill for 3 tow trucks b/c one had to which 300ft when the ditch was only 50ft max, and the other 2 tow trucks were "blocking" nearly 800$, what a load of shit.

i know way back in the day GSL city did all the maintenance for the CPS, thought the story was kinda funny of how they lost that deal. not sure who does it now.

Well you gonna tell everyone what happened or keep it to yourself? IMHO City wide towing are crooks. My front passenger side tire was in a snow bank and wouldn't come out so they gave me a pull and charged me $180.00 :banghead:

^ There are no set contracts. I used to work for Advantage Ford many years ago, yet we'd receive Crown Vics (etc) as would Woodridge & Universal Ford (etc). Whoever is convenient for the closest district would get the business, unless a dealership has been proven unfit, of which perhaps was the case with GSL towards the Malibu's & Suburbans.

why would the government care how much it costs to tow their cars. taxes cover it anyways.

and those cruiser rims that say unbendable/breakable, arent.

surprised more cop cars arent gettin towed nowadays with how much cps bag them

Why are they towing it from the front when it's rear wheel drive? Isn't that going to mess up the transmission? And even if it's in neutral, they're rotating all those parts which are used to being actively lubricated while the car is on but now they're not.

bull shit.
I work for city wide. 110 an hour for winching. 60 an hour for blocking. Unless it took 4 hours to get out then that statement is a over exaggeration.
And if it took 4 hours you were well past 300 feet and the driver needed extra chains to reach you and even then 4 hours is ridiculous and you shouldn't have drove off the road. I can get a car at 300 feet in about 20 minutes.
