I'm just curious, for those of you that may have bought or are planning on buying a fit from the honda dealership:

What do you pay per month, and how long is the term on your car?
I could ask the dealership, but I want a clear cut no BS answer from someone that is actually making the payments.

Also, I'm speaking about a payment plan, not a lease.

So if you can give me a ball park of what to expect per month payment after its all said and done that would really help me out a lot.

Thanks.

edit:

I guess I can use that website to get an idea.

Seems to be more helpful than I initially imagined it would be,
I was under the impression they would with hold that info to get you to walk into the dealership.

With nothing down?

Why not just use the various calculators available (such as the one already posted on honda.ca that you quickly denounced)? Someone elses situation will never be as exact as yours. It will get you in the ballpark and you can play with the numbers to see how different downpayments and terms effect the monthly.

Say with $10k down for example.

calculator seems to show about 180$ a month, which is pretty decent.

your best bet would be to call a dealer. I dont understand why you wouldnt directly call the place you are buying from?
its not like they want to fuck with you. they want to make a sale.

I'm hoping the CR-Z comes out around the same ballpark as the Fit, I would much rather buy a CR-Z.

So the Fit price is the closest Comparable car, maybe even the insight, to give me an idea of what the payments on a CR-Z might be.

I understand its a pretty random, semi useless thread, a bit of a mistake on my part.

The calculator works fine...they go by those numbers anyways. When you go in, they quote you using those numbers and then perhaps you guys can work with the price based on cash payment or whatever. I think they're still giving a $2500 incentive for paying cash.

The 2009 Fit currently has a $2000.00 cash incentive and interest rates of 4.9% for up to 60 month for the remainder of April only. Calgary Honda has three sport models in manual transmission left. Honda Canada does not normally have any programs on the Fits so I`d recommend looking into Honda`s offer asap. On a side note Honda now has a big cash incentive on the Insight. Give me a shout if you`re interested in more info.

Financing rates on a newly introduced model will likely not be as good.

No information has been released yet on the CRZ.

Just get a line of credit from the bank instead of going through the dealership, you'll probably get a better interest rate.

^ depends on the finance rates, I believe they are 0.9% for most Hondas which is far better than a vehicle loan/loc from a bank.
