how to get gum off pants

long story short,

i have gum stuck to my track pants, and im wondering how to remove it

throw your pants in the freezer and then once it's solid, you should be able to break it off.

Or if you want quicker, take a can of compressed air, flip it upside down and spray where the gum is.

yeah dry ice works, or that goo be gone stuff breaks the gum down, but then that leaves a grease stain.

soaking in very hot water helps to as it also breaks down the gum

I would love to know how to get silicone off of my one of my shirts. I refuse to wear it anymore because it looks like I jerked off on it :rofl:

hmmm the upside down compressed gas doesn't really work =[
could it be because my pants are wet? prior to posting, i tried to remove it from dumping it into hot water

spray SHOUT(laundry cleaner thing) and leave over night, it will flake off in the morning with no problems.

Maybe you have a defective can of compressed gas, turn it upside down and spray it on your hand or leg and see if it gets cold to test it

haha i did it properly the first time
i would spray it on the pants, then touch it and it would be super cold
i can also feel it flaking up, but just wont come off when i rub/scratch it

Wait til 2morrow when ur pants are dry, then spray the gum a bit longer so it freezes longer and colder. Just a lil spray won't do it

The gf was always mad at me when I came on her shirts and shit (while she was wearing them).. But yet it never left a stain, :dunno:

Try an edible oil, like peanut oil to dissolve the gum. It'll work just like if you were chewing gum and popped a few peanuts into your mouth. The gum turns into a paste after a couple of chews.

Happened to me4 days ago. Take some vinegar, heat it in microwave for like 20 secs. Then use a toothbrush and it rubs right out.

soak it with goo-gone, and use a fingernail brush to scrub the area after wetting it. I've had to do this to a bunch of shirts and sweaters I've worn to work:D
