There is a place in calgary, i think it's at the U, where the guy is an eptomoligist (sp?) or 'bug guy' and he takes in spiders and examines them. If you kept the body you should take it down there and get him to check it out.

holy shit fuck, yesterday i was picking up my bag with old homework in it(i was cleaning out my bag for school) then this fucking spider SIZE OF A LOONIE FUCKING RAN
I fucking yelled, holy shit i was scared man. it wasn't one of those 'daddy long legs' or wahtever its legs were about 2mm think!!!
omg man im scared. so i grabbed a stick and SMUSHED it real good!

I just shook it off the stick onto the pavement and tried to focus and snap shots as it crawled along. I don't think my dog even saw it. He was looking at me:rolleyes: .

one time at night when i was typing on the comp, this big ass black spider with the biggest ass. probably bigger ass then jennifer lopez, craweled right across my keyboard. scared the crap out of me and it kept running towards my bed and it went up my bed and scared my gf off my bed. i chased it off with a stick then i poured listerine all over that sucker, killed him in minutes, dam listerine is a powerful mouthwash...god i was scared to sleep that night

Haha! That is one ugly beast.

Did you notice the pattern on the back of the sack? See how it looks like eyes? It is probably to scare off predators. There is a spider that has a smiley face design on it's back. Nature is weird :)

I wouldn't be brave enough to kill it with a stick either. I'd throw rocks at it until it dies. And then i'd burn it.

I actually saw one of those spiders before when I was younger. I took a 2x4 and dropped the 2x4 right on it. Guess what? The damned thing didn't even die. Kept walking away. haha

That might have been the most disgusting spider I have ever seen. I am so glda my parents decided not to move to the country. I hate bugs, especially spiders :barf: WD-40 and a lighter mighta been fun though:D
