I'm picking up a 9600 Pro tomorrow for my work machine. I'd buy yours if you lower the price... and I mean u gotta lower it a lot, you're asking more than what it's selling for new.
Hmmm cheapest I found was $275 + GST for the retail box. If you have other hook ups that can get it cheaper .... please share the info.

Atlantis Radeon 9600 128MB w/ TV-Out DVI(Retail) $179.95
Memory Express. That's what I was gonna pick up.
The Radeon 9600 XT's, those are more expensive.
Hmm thats a good price for the Regular 9600.

Price has to come down... a lot. Check out this 9800SE:
oops , link didn't work.
9800SE Sapphire (ati)
128mb DDR
325mhz clock speed
540mhz memory clock speed (4 rendering pipes)
VGA, TV out, DVI
agp 8x
New in box $239
Read this tidbit from overclockers.com
The "SE" stands for "Special Edition." Unfortunately, this is a "Special" Edition like the "Special Olympics" are special.
Well, not quite. In the case of the video card, the physical handicap is quite deliberate: four of the eight pipelines operational on real 9800s are disabled.
To complicate matters more, there are two versions of the 9800 SE, a 128-bit version and a 256-bit version. What the difference?
"The 256-bit board will look like a Radeon 9700. The 128-bit board will look like a 9500 Pro. All of the Sapphire cards I've seen have been 128-bit. All of the Powercolor cards I've seen have been 256-bit. The Powercolors are usually the same price as a 9800 np (around $250). The Sapphires are the ones for under $200."

:D
Not in BOX (OEM) After taxes $255.73 from memoryexpress. And price was adjusted for greater competition :drama:

Yea, 9800SE is NOT comparable, it's slower than the 9600Pro, as well as the 9600. Definately a "special olympics" card :).
I ended up buying that 9600 non pro and clocking it up btw.
Overclocking =) the best thing that ever happened to me. What speeds are you running at?

I just clocked it up to Pro speeds. Enough to run NFSU in full detail at 1280 with zero lag.
Very nice =)
$210 and its someones new christmas gift! =)
$50 more gets you the xt brand new, i dunno seems kinda high...I have seen that the 9600 isnt good for benchmarks compared to the 9700 non pro or 9800 :dunno: so your taking 210? or the best offer?
Im open to offers but firm at $210.
9600 XT: The main new feature is the clock speed of the graphics processor, which at 500MHz is 100 MHz faster than the 9600 Pro predecessor. Overclock the 9600 PRO =) save $50. Where can you buy the 9600 PRO XT and the prices?
9700: I looked at getting one but couldnt find any sellers in Calgary, get it shipped from somewhere else and im sure its gonna cost more then $210 all together.
9800: Arent all sapphires 128bit not 256? If its not a sapphire how much are other 9800's? :dunno:
I've seen many benchmarks and the 9600 pro, the very old 9700's, XT's, 9800 are all within 5-10%. Overclock any one of these 3 and one will be faster then the other. Factoring other components in your PC you wont even see a big difference.
After factoring everything with taxes and all i think $210 is very reasonable for a Retail ATI 9600 PRO.
