Montreal Hotels?

I have never been to Montreal and was wondering what are some good hotels to stay at that is close to the night life and strippers!

Just got back from a 10 night hostel stay in Montreal at 'Montreal Central' (http://hostelmontrealcentral.com/)

I chose it because it was 90% ratings on all sites..and rightfully so. They have live entertainment 4 nights a week (same guy, so gets repetitive) Free breakfast, Free dinner on Friday nights. Group bar trip to a decent place with $7 pitchers on Tuesdays. Bikes for rent. Their location is the best part. Located right across Berri UQAM Metro which is like the central metro station. You are less than 5 min walk to St. Denis and St. Catherine. The staff there is awesome and super friendly. Rooms were cleaned daily. I always stay in Hotels and had never stayed in a Hostel before, and I found it to be really good, because you meet lots of interesting and fun people. They have hostel (shared) and hotel (private) rooms under the same roof.
