American. I like the look of them, but they seem underpowered and the interior is rather cheap IMO.

14 000 is dirt cheap and they are very capable 4x4 it would be my first (realistic) choice for a suv. new they are around 35

no good for repairing, I found out, the ball joint is part of the lower control arm, so if your ball joints go, you have to replace the whole lower control arm $$$
all the body panels, eg. bumper cover, fenders, hood, flairs are all over priced
Other than that, It seems like a lesser version of a pathfinder:thumbsup:

Well I own a 2001 Xterra SE so here what you can expect from it
First of all it is a truck!!!! It build on frontier truck base, so expect it drive like truck. So if you want cute little SUV with car like handling get a CRV or a Rav4. It will not go fast because it not mean to go fast. If you want to go fast get a STi. It suck on milage too, so if you want good milage get a civic. But if with an Xterra you can use an civic as a speed bump and test your supension hehhe . What the Xterra is good for is for 4wheeling and get you to place where car and little cute SUV are not mean to go. It a tought vechile and you can put it thru hell and it still come back. Go here if you want to find out more about Xterra go here

It will not go fast because it is underpowered. Even the S/C versions are mind numbingly slow. But then again our fronty does get really good mileage.
