I think it was 6 x 1L Oil, each $5. So the user bought 10 bottles (I hope, yes 60L is a lot!!)

The sale-priced Mobil 1 oil grades are usually 5W30 and 10W30. The other grades rarely go on sale.

The deal was I 4.4L bottle + 1 5L bottle for $30 (or maybe $31 or 32, I forget now), so I bought 10 packages of it :D

Some of us have many many many V8s to maintain

Kicking myself now - they had about 20 on the shelf in that package deal and I only bought 10 of them figuring that'd be enough. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

haha...in that case yes, 60L would be sooo good, but 120 liters would be much better

I would by 10, my I6 drinks 6.5L/change :(

That's nothing, I once went to Walmart when they had 5L of Quaker State for 8 bucks, I bought around 30 boxes, yes boxes not jugs, each box had 4x5L jugs in it.

My next oil change is coming up and I'm curious about the best price on Mobil 1 5W20, everywhere I see 5W30 and 10W30 on sale but never 5W20, anybody spot it?

You must have met my dad in the Wal-Mart lineup. I remember when he came home sevearl years ago with like a dozen Quaker State boxes and I was like 'WTF - did they fall of a truck or something'

Saw some at Canadian Tire today. They were sold out of 5W30 but had lots of 20

Dumb question - why don't you just buy a 55g/208L drum? Hell of a lot cheaper than by the cases. Ag supply places will have it in real bulk quantities...

I was stupid and bought a drum of hydraulic oil for my 4post lift because it worked out cheaper to buy the drum than 3bottles that I needed. Now I've got a drum sitting in the garage that's very difficult and messy to pour from. Should have just bought the bottles :(

MOBIL1 on for $9.29L @ Napa right now.

$9.29/L I take it?.... not really a deal, you can usually catch a 4.4L jug for under $30, or a 5L jug for the mid $30-range.
