I think it looks neat. I like the 2 door conversion and shaved door handles. Makes me wonder if it's chopped or real...

Definate Photoshop IMO. The rear vent before the wing, the shadow fade looks fake. The door pillar still has the back half from the second door. What car manufacturer makes that square of a door? Trunk or hatch how would either open? no breaks in the wing. Who puts fibreglass over a window? And last....the hood over the headlight, is this possible without a raise in the portion covering the headlight?
Either way, it's a great chop. If it turns out its not a chop at all, than someone has good ideas, but bad executions.

have you ever noticed that the srt-4 looks pretty close to an wrx/sti?
bug eyes, fog lights, hood scoop, and huge asss wing no one could love..

Well the two cars definitely share similarities:

both cars are not built on a sport specific platform, rather they are both built on their respective companies smallest, cheapest, sedan platform.

Both have huge assed intercoolers so both need a ton of airflow up front which means hood scoops and wide open fascias.

Bug eye lights are actually very common on small cars since you have to squeeze the low/high beams and indicator lights into a very small space. Just look at the mini, the headlight housing looks almost exactly the same as the current neons. Add to the fact that you need the extra space on the front for airflow, and you realize that the real estate on the front of the car is too precious to be wasting it on large light assembly.

If you really wanted 2 door you could shave the rear door handles off and bolt the rear doors on solid. Maybe even fill the lines if you wanted to do it hardcore. Then with no need for the back seat, rip it out and save another 100 lbs probably. It would disqualify you from some of the club competitions though.

But yeah 2 dr neons haven't existed since gen 1 to my knowledge.

i dont think it matters if your back doors have shaved handles...it's the front ones that really matter so they can get you out of your car if you crash at the track...then again there may be the case when they can only get you out through the back door so then you'd be screwed:drama:

No shit. I meant what car was used in the photoshop? It looks as if an RSX or Celica body was used.

You bastard! Don't compare that POS to a del slow! erm I mean del sol..its got more of a celica/crx-like rear window. Actually if they pchoped a different front on it it might look like some weirdass rally car. Like a peugot 206...
