Old Uniden radar detector.

I found my OLD uniden stalker wide band RD 6000W radar detector which i bought probably in the mid 1990's sitting in a box in my basement...it has x k ka and laser. Should i throw it away because it is old technology. It still fires up pretty good. Is there any reason not to throw this radar detector away?

I know it may be old technology, but honestly, has the the radar guns changed that much or do they still emit the same signals that these radar detectors look for to alert you? Is there much difference between radar detectors from one made in 1990's and one made today?

I'm rocking an old Uniden also, it works most of the times but also gives off false reading 90% of the time also. Oh wells
