Truth is, I'm surprised it lasted that long, you were driving it fairly hard for being untuned. :poosie:

Guess I'll have to wait a bit to hear exactly what happened...

Sorry. As I said, I would further elaborate on the story.

To restate the original question:

What happens when one puts a DIY budget turbo on an S2K?

One takes it to a dyno after having it on for almost a year and a half and finally gets it tuned which in the end equates to a blown motor pumping out just a hair under 320 whp at 7 psi.

Wow, is this thing ever different! I haven't felt VTEC in this car for over a year

I'll get into a full description of the tune and specs and what not, but just know that the I probably have 3 grand into this kit including the standalone AEM, fuel management, new turbo, gauges, bolts, nuts, exhaust from the turbo all the way back to the muffler (and ask people who've seen the muffler, they'll know how I cut costs - Insert Toma's laugh here) as well as the bloody heat wrap.

Seriously, anything and everything has pretty much been included in that total so I'm very happy with the results! Now, I just need to install my aluminum rad and get an oil change and she'll be back on the road!
