hey, Im gonna buy an mp3 player right away, and was wondering if anyone has read/heard/talked with anyone/etc about the iPOD and the Dell mp3 players. Pros/Cons etc? Im only interested in iPOD or Dell

Dell, cheaper and as good as ipod.

depends on what you want. if you want mass storage, i'd go with an ipod. if you want something that won't hold as much and will be cheaper, than go with ur run of the mill mp3 player with 256 mb onboard.

comparing the ipod and the dell, they seem bout the same thou the dells a bit bigger in size and heavier. i'm sure they're both really good mp3 players, pick whichever one you want

Nice little unit my little sister is running with one of those and she loves it...Not ipod storage...but for her..totally gets the job done...

Now I dont want to start a big Mac vs PC war here but...

Have you noticed how much Mac laptops and desktops are compared to PC laptops and desktops?

Apple makes good money on their hardware because they mark it up so heavily.

that's the nature of supply and demand, more people demand pc's so they are able to produce more at a lower price
