2004 Mazda Rx-8

hey, was just reading some stuff about the 2004 rx-8 and was having trouble finding concrete information in regards to the engine size. Was the 2.6l rotary 2 engine available in the 2004 gt model? or only the 1.3l engine?? also any comments in general about the 2004 rx-8 gt. thanks.

unless the car is 1984 or older it's the 1.3L but for some reason, government bullshit likes to believe our motors are 2.6L because each "chamber" fires once per revolution much like a 2 stroke. yet were still expected to reach the emission levels of a 1.3L
