Ive had friends bolt into the sub box, also into the back seat , or under the back seats

why would you bolt your friends into the sub box? thats not very friendly

Get some cabinet hinges and screw one side to the sub encloser and screw the other side into the floor of your trunk and your done.

but won't the screws just come out over tiem? i did bolt it in.. the first 3 msgs were a joke... lol stupid Weapon_R hahaha
anyways it is bolted in with srews.. but they keep getting loose...

Try some new screws cuz maybe the ones you are useing are dull? or try puttin nuts on them..?

Self tapping screws are what you need;)

try some velcro strips to keep it from moving around slightly and getting loose.

or duct tape

self tapping. it means you can screw in the screw without needing a hole, does that make sense? i dunno i'm drunk and it's 3 in the morning....Good night:zzz:

the carpeted box shouldnt move around anyways...never did with me but anyways....i have some velcro whihc is sticky on one side whihc i just stuck to the bottom, and that stopped any problems i had

Self tapping screws have sort of a drill-bit head on them, so they make their own hole, made to only go in once, but stay there once they are in. They are a good plan for a permanent installation, if they back out, try putting some machine screws with nuts on the other side. I installed a box once by drilling through the floor, tapping the hole, and bolting it (with lock washers of course) to the floor. It never came loose, was still tight when I took it out 2 years later.
Screws may be a bad idea, if you can tap the hole, and bolt it in, it will be much more secure.
